Supplements instead of antibiotics?
In a study with patients suffering from severe gum disease it has been found that Omega-3 supplements with low-dose aspirin are similarly effective as antibiotics. This insight may mean that some patients may be better treated without antibiotics, also to reduce the problem of antibiotic resistance.
