In Cameroon, solar powered incubators are used for for supporting premature babies. Standard incubators are not sufficiently reliable, since there are frequent power outages which put the lives of prematurely born babies at risk. Using solar powered incubators are much more reliable, they are locally produced, and boost renewable energy use.
