In Belgrade, Serbia, the LIQUID3 project has started to clean the air by using so-called liquid trees, that is, aquariums containing algae which use the daylight to purify the air in areas where there is no space for trees. Two such liquid trees are currently installed in Belgrade, another one in Užice, Serbia.
