Narges Mahammadi, imprisoned by the Iranian state, has received this year's Nobel Peace Prize for "her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all". Her fight has come at a "tremendous personal cost", since she is currently serving a 10-year prison term in Tehran.
