Neat News - Neat things do happen

A major issue with wind turbines is to recycle their material at the end of their life time. Currently 90 percent of the mass of a wind turbine, mainly consisting of steel, cables, and concrete, can be recycled. In 2021 the European industry committed to recycling 100 percent of the blades. However, currently the task is difficult since clear regulations for labelling the blades with the materials used are missing.
