Building started on the world's biggest telescope, which is to be completed in 2028 and will then consist of 200 big parabolic antennas and 131000 smaller dipole antennas in South Africa and Australia. It should then be able to detect very faint signals that allow to answer questions about the time immediately after the Big Bang.
