Wind most important electricity source in Germany

In 2023, wind has overtaken coal as the most important source for the generation of electricity in Germany. 31 percent, compared to 24 percent the year before, of the electricity was produced from wind, whereas the contribution of coal went down from 33 percent to 26 percent. related: #wind #energy #coal #Germany
