Reduced ALS risk with physical activity?

A new study found that men who do a moderate level of physical activity have a 29 percent reduced risk of developing ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and those who do a high level of physical activity even a 41 percent reduced risk. No corresponding association was found for women.
