Workout consistency vs variety

While it can be rightly said that consistency in working out is key to fitness, this should not necessarily mean doing the same workout day-in and day-out, since as is suggested, this could lead to fatigue, a loss in fitness gains, and even a loss of motivation. For this reason it is suggested to incorporate new exercises or adding variety to familiar routines.
