New research finds that there is a link between gut microbiome and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease on the one hand and colon cancer on the other hand. For instance, by stool transplants from one rodent to another memory impairment can be passed on. Also cancer patients seem to have a risk reduced by a third of developing Alzheimer's.
