From experiments with mice, it has been known that oestrogens can reduce the inflammation produced by multiple Sclerosis (MS). Unfortunately oestrogens have strong negative side effects, in particular for male patients. Now a related drug has been developed and in experiments with mice it could be shown that its effect is stronger and its side effects are reduced.
