White-tailed eagles recover in Germany

In the 1980 there were only four breeding pairs of white-tailed eagles left in West Germany and some more in East Germany. After DDT was outlawed the numbers recovered from 185 pairs in 1990 over some 700 in 2018 to around 970 now.
