Seedbanks to help with crop diversity

The reduction of diversity in the crop cultivated world wide is dangerous, since some pests could wipe out large amounts of the world wide harvest. In several countries seedbanks are used to keep corresponding diversity by storing seeds that can be used if they are needed.
