Efficient light harvesting

Inspired by photosynthesis, scientists managed to build a new hybrid organic anorganic material that can harvest light with an efficiency of 96.4 percent. A standard solar panel has a typical conversion efficiency in the range of 20 percent. More research is needed to make the research more widely applicable.
