Fossil of Reptile Found that Gave Live Birth

| There was the question whether animals in the group to which birds, dinosaurs, and crocodiles belong cannot give live births because of their biology. This question has now been answered negatively by the find of a 245 million year old fossil of a reptile that carried an embryo. The animal would have been between 3 and 4 metres long and was living in the sea. |
