4000 Square Kilometres of Patagonia Conserved

Late Mr Douglas Tompkins and his wife Mrs Kristine McDivitt Tompkins bought a huge area of Patagonia to make it a nature reserve in southern Chile. Mrs McDivitt Tompkins is in negotiations with the Chilean government to convert the area to national parks.
