Altruism by Microbes?

| Microbes can strongly influence the behaviour of animals up to suicidal behaviour to help the microbes to proliferate. There is now research undergoing that points also in the direction that they influence animals to behave in an altruistic way. The existence of altruism in a Darwinian system is still a conundrum and new insights may help to understand it. |
