Plant Trees to Cut Emissions

By planting trees on "spare lands" farmers can cut the currently 9% contribution of agriculture to greenhouse gas emissions in the UK considerably. Combined with other measures this can lead to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the farming sector by 80% by 2050.
