Sleep and exercise to lower blood pressure
In a new study, different activities (sleeping, sitting, standing, slow walking, fast walking, and exercising) were compared. Fast walking and other exercise-like activities lower the blood pressure even if they last only for a short while (such as running for a bus). Likewise sleeping has a positive effect.
