Modern analysis techniques allowed to make a detailed study of the proteins in two cauldrons from the late Bronze Age, some 2700 years ago. It was found that the cauldrons were used to collect animal blood, mainly from sheep and goats, and milk, mainly from yaks. related: #diet #nomad #bronze_age
