Bumblebees fighting hornets

Asian hornets are a big problem for many bees in Europe. Now scientists have observed that bumblebees have developed a successful method of fighting Asian hornets: When attacked the bumblebee drops to the ground and tries to sting the hornet until it gives up. In 120 observed attacks the method was always successful. related: #hornet #bumblebee
