On the current Glasgow climate conference pledges were made: Jeff Bezos plans to spend with the Bezos Earth Fund 10 billion dollars on fighting climate change. More than 100 countries pledge to reduce methane emissions by 30 percent by the end of the decade compared to 2020. Countries covering 85 percent of the world's forests pledge to end deforestation by 2030.
