Kunming Declaration to protect biodiversity

| More than 100 countries have signed today the Kunming Declaration to protect biodiversity at the UN climate conference in Kunming, China. By 2030 each nation should protect and conserve 30 percent of its territory. However, at this moment the declaration is only a statement of political will and not yet binding. related: #biodiversity |
