Beaver population in Scotland doubles in three years

| In 2009 beavers were reintroduced in Scotland and in 2019 legislation was passed to protect them. The measures have been very successful and the number of beaver has doubled to 1000 in three years. Beavers play an important role in creating and restoring wetlands. related: #beaver #Scotland |
