| The European Commission has proposed new measures to cut CO2 emissions by 55 percent by 2030 (compared to 1990). To achieve this and net-zero emissions by 2050, no new petrol or diesel car should be sold by 2035, aviation fuel is to be taxed, and carbon border tariffs are to be applied. related: #climate #EU |
