Reduction of CO₂ emissions in Germany 2019

In 2019 the CO2 emissions were 6.3 percent lower than in 2018 and 35.7 percent lower than in 1990. At the same time the percentage of renewable energies (mainly wind and solar) rose from 16.5 in 2018 to 17.1 in 2019.
