| The universe is pretty big with an estimated distance of 46 billion light-years to the edge of the observable universe. Compared to that, an exo-planet in the Gliese 832 star system - which may have earth-like conditions - is just around the corner. At least it is close enough that radio contact to the system is at least thinkable. |
